Lisa Naylor was first elected as the MLA for Wolseley in 2019. She served as the official opposition critic for environment and climate change, critic for municipal relations, and deputy caucus chair as well as the NDP spokesperson for 2SLGBTQ+ issues. She is also a former Vice Chair and Finance Chair of the Winnipeg School Division Board of Trustees and served as the Area 6 Director for the Manitoba School Board Association.
Naylor worked in front-line social services and community health for 30 years providing counselling to women and girls and delivering programs to increase mental health resilience for youth. In this role she also contributed to the development of provincial mental health policy and served on local and national advisory committees related to teen mental health, eating disorders and violence prevention.
She has lived with her family in Wolseley for almost 25 years.
