Fuel Tax

The Manitoba government is lowering the tax on gasoline permanently.

Starting January 1, 2025, the Manitoba fuel tax will be reduced to 12.5¢/litre. This is a 10 per cent reduction from the previous rate and makes Manitoba's fuel tax on gasoline among the lowest in Canada.

The fuel tax rates will be as follows:

• Clear gasoline and diesel will be 12.5¢/litre
